Accountancy Services

From tax returns and bookkeeping to limited company accounts and payroll, I offer a range of accountancy services for individuals and businesses.

Not sure exactly what you need? Just get in touch and we can have a chat about it.

Self Assessment Tax Returns

Whether you're self-employed, have rental income or need to declare other income, I can prepare and submit your Self Assessment tax return and make sure you're claiming the allowances and expenses you're entitled to.

I can also help you prepare for Making Tax Digital if the new requirements apply to you.

Statutory Accounts & Corporation Tax

Running a limited company comes with annual reporting requirements. I can prepare your statutory accounts, calculate your Corporation Tax and take care of the necessary submissions to Companies House and HMRC.
I'll also explain the figures and anything you need to be aware of, rather than just sending you a set of accounts.

Bookkeeping

If keeping your books up to date is taking time away from everything else, I can take care of it for you.

From recording transactions to keeping your accounts organised and up to date, I'll help make sure your financial records are in good order.

Management Accounts

Want a clearer picture of how your business is doing?

I can prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts to help you see where your money is going, how your business is performing and whether things are going according to plan.

VAT Returns

I can prepare and submit your VAT returns, check that VAT is being recorded correctly and help with any questions you have along the way.

Whether you need someone to take care of your quarterly returns or a bit of guidance with VAT, I can help.

Payroll

Whether you employ one person or a whole team, I can take care of your payroll, including calculating wages, providing payslips and submitting the required information to HMRC.

Company Secretarial

I can help keep your company records up to date and take care of routine Companies House filings, including confirmation statements and changes to company details.

Business Start-Ups & Company Formation

Thinking of starting your own business?

I can talk you through the differences between operating as a sole trader and setting up a limited company, help you decide which structure might suit you and take care of company formation if that's the route you choose.

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax – What’s Changing

Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax is changing the way some sole traders and landlords report their income to HMRC.

The new rules are being introduced in stages:

  • From 6 April 2026 – if your qualifying income is over £50,000

  • From 6 April 2027 – if your qualifying income is over £30,000

  • From 6 April 2028 – if your qualifying income is over £20,000

Qualifying income is broadly your total income from self-employment and property before expenses.

If you fall within MTD, you'll need to keep digital records and provide quarterly updates to HMRC using compatible software, as well as completing your end-of-year tax reporting.

If you're not sure whether Making Tax Digital applies to you, or you're wondering how it will work in practice, get in touch. I can help you understand what you'll need to do and get everything set up.

Straightforward, transparent pricing

Every client is different, so I quote based on the work you actually need.

I'll explain what's included and what it will cost before we get started, so you know exactly where you stand.
